30 professional development hours (PDH) must be obtained by every registrant during each biennial period in order to complete their renewal. OSBEELS continuing education information

Can Oregon PEs carry over PDH?

To comply with Oregon's mandates, courses must be technical and relevant to the engineer's current profession and licensure.

Which activities count in Oregon?

The Board acknowledges internet-based courses as an acceptable method for engineers to acquire their PDHs, offering flexibility and a wide range of learning opportunities.

Other Oregon rules to know

For professionals holding dual licenses, the biennial requirement remains at 30 PDHs. It's crucial for engineers to keep detailed records of their PDH completion for at least 5 years. Our platform simplifies this with features allowing instant access, printing of certificates, and secure online storage for a minimum of ten years, accessible anytime through your account.

Supporting documentation of PDHs received must be retained for five (5) years and submitted to the Board when requested to participate in an audit. OSBEELS continuing education information
