Based on your state requirements, on-demand courses are accepted in your state. Our courses are structured to meet NCEES Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) guidelines — the nationally recognized standard for continuing education. Each course includes a final graded assessment and completion certificate, giving you the documentation you need for your state's renewal audit. Engineers are responsible for confirming their specific board requirements.

PDH Hours Required: Professional Engineers in Georgia are required to complete 15 PDHs annually as mandated by the Georgia Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors Board. The courses should ideally encompass technical, professional, ethical, and managerial content to maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee's field of practice.
Renewal Dates: The renewal deadline is on December 31 each year
PDH Carryover: Due to the transition from biennial to annual renewals, the Board's policy on PDH carryover may be subject to alteration. It's advisable to contact the board directly for updated information regarding this aspect.
Board Pre-Approval: The Board does not pre-approve either providers or specific courses. It is the responsibility of each engineer to ascertain whether an activity complies with the Board's stipulations.
Approved Content: While there's a focus on technical, professional, ethical, and managerial content, there are no explicit restrictions on other types of content. However, personal development topics are not accepted. Each course should have a clear purpose and objective aligning with the enhancement of skills and knowledge pertinent to the engineering domain.
Approved Activities: Distance learning is acknowledged as an approved method for earning PDHs, with no restrictions on the number of hours that can be obtained through this mode of learning.
Notes: Engineers are required to keep records of PDH completion for a minimum of 4 years. We assist in fulfilling this requirement by providing instant access to, and printing of, certificates upon successful course or webinar completion. Additionally, certificates of completion are securely stored by us for a minimum of ten years, accessible online at any time through your login account.
